Great little charter trip, caught a bunch of snapper blues (although I wish it was something bigger we were catching). Crew was very helpful. This was the second or third time we've gone out with them.
I've been on the whale watching cruise twice. Once we saw whales and the other time we didn't. Both of my trips were enjoyable and the staff was friendly and professional.
They need to train the whales to come and visit the cruise. Would also be helpful to train the dolphins to pose for pictures!!
I was supposed to take my son on the pirate cruise but unfortunately for reasons beyond my control we were unable to attend. My son has type 1 diabetes and he was very ill the morning of the cruise so I had to make the decision to keep him home for safety reasons. I called to cancel my reservation and the woman who answered the phone said nothing other than she was cancelling my reservation and that she hoped my son felt better. I returned from vacation to see I was charged $90. I called because I thought it was just a mistake and was told by not one but two very rude disrespectful people that it's their policy & there is nothing they can do about it so I am now out $90 and I got NOTHING for it. I explained that my son has a very unpredictable disease & that this could not be controlled or prevented and the man on the phone literally laughed at me. I am in complete shock that we were treated this way and I will tell everyone I know not to give a single penny of their hard owned money to this business. It is a complete disgrace to treat customers this way. This is supposed to be a fun experience for children but the way they behaved when I explained my sons situation I'm actually glad he didn't step foot on that boat. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It's bad enough my 6 year old son has to endure this disease every single day of his life & miss out on things but for a grown adult running a business geared towards children to be so heartless truly makes me sick. I don't even care about the $90, it's the principal that they took advantage & benefited from my sons illness that is truly despicable.
A day out with my wife. We booked the Whale & Dolphin Cruise. Not a Whale in sight. No apologies from the crew. No explanation of what might have happened. After speaking with Mary the manager, she blamed it on the time of the year. This info would have been very useful if it was provided prior to the purchase of this cruise. Educate yourself before you book. Maybe someday they will change the name to something less leading.
We departed at 7am and was fishing by 930am. The crew and mates were very very helpful with any problems with gear, rods etc. Very friendly. We had a great experience. The only negative thing I can speak of has nothing to do with the company or the crew. It was the other patrons on the boat. People have no regard to the ocean or the environment. They will throw their trash and plastic bags right into the water. Personally it was disturbing to me to see all the trash just being thrown in the water.
