The location is lovely, with views of water and pretty sunset. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. However the food has much to be desired. Three things we (a party of 9) wanted to order were “86-ed” 1. Watermelon Feta Salad (no watermelon) 2. Several beers 3. Butternut squash soup. It’s October and we were told they ran out of vegetables for the soup... how can that be? I ordered clam chowder and it was the worst I’ve ever had. It had three clams and hard chunks of celery, awful flavor. I barely ate any and our waiter didn’t say a word, just are you done? I ordered a wedge salad and the dressing it came with was a blue cheese vinaigrette that very sour tasting, very bad. They also do not do separate checks, their computer system can not do it, really? There was a waiter who would kick the kitchen doors open several times during our visit and seemed to very disgruntled. Shrimp cocktail is $9 for four unclean shrimp. Two stars for location only.
Entrees came before appetizers were halfway finished. When manager was told he said he would take care of it and order us new entrees. When entrees came for the second time. One entree was ice cold. Talked to manager about this and when we told manager to to take entree back for refund, we were given an attitude basically for not wanting to eat cold food. We felt rushed the whole time, left hungry and unsatisfied. We were treated poorly and I would recommend you avoid this place. They could care less about their customers. I would give it zero stars if I could.
It was a little hectic because they were so busy but the staff seemed to be handling it very well and aside from forgetting two items we ordered( my daughter's dinner and my father's salad ). We let our waitress know and she promptly brought out the rest of our order and was very pleasant. This has been a stop for us every year we come to Wildwood and the food is fantastic and service always great . I am amazed today how smoothly things seemed to be going when their huge parking lot was literally almost completely filled and we still got right to a table without a wait our food was delicious and timely . Great job to the staff . Thank you for making my favorite stop worth while after a 6hour drive into town. I will return .
Been here many times. First time in covered porch area & loved it! Each visit is better and better! Stopped by for quick lunch w friends and the soup, wow... we each had a different soup and they were ALL spectacular! The scenery is also a huge plus as its right on the water w scenic Views. Highly recommending a visit year round!
There are 2 restaurants at this location. Two mile landing is a little more dressier. Then there's the Crab House where you can crack your crabs lobster and get your hands dirty! By far both are the best. Both are priced the same and great service. The crab house menu is insane with so many things to choose from. Loved them both
