I work at a specialists office and had to contact Dr. Richard Renza's Wildwood Crest office to get a referral for a patient. They originally issued the referral to the wrong office and were extremely rude when they had to correct their own mistake. Treating a fellow healthcare provider with that kind of attitude makes me feel bad for the patients.
I made an appointment to see the doctor. After speaking who I thought was the doctor for several minutes I asked exactly what her position was. She clearly WAS NOT a doctor. She stated she was a nurse practitioner. WHAT?! Why was I not told on the phone that I could not see a real doctor? I thought that was quite shady. I should have left when while I was waiting there was a upset father leaving. He was upset with the service he had received. Well I didn't like the service either. I was in pain and they didn't give me pain pills. I really did not get that at all. I ended up having to go to the emergency room the next day (this was over the weekend so I couldn't see another doctor) and now I will have to pay a HUGE bill. Find somewhere else to go if you can. There is an urgent care in Cape May that is much better. I should have gone there!
