Excellent food always, we are big fans of homemade pot pie night every Wednesday. Service has always been great. It is a small place but awesome atmosphere
The Crest Tavern is as reliable as sunrise. Wings and burgers are awesome, plenty of TV's to catch the game and all kinds of tasty beers on tap. One star off because of their rather odd payment system: you get one check for food, one for alcohol.
If I could give this place a half star I would on their customer service and cleanness. I was a regular in the past this Saturday August 5th 2017 we stopped in for a few drinks it was my first time for the season. There was four of us went straight to the bar and put my money down the bartenders a male and female gave us a quick glance. I stood there there to order drinks while my husband went into men's room and my sister in law and niece proceeded to the ladies room after their return I was still waiting for even a comment from someone that they will be right with us. Nothing. The female casually got drinks for other patrons while the male stood there slicing limes. OK so we Left. My sister in law had said bathroom was a disgrace and smelled of vomit. Are you gonna say since the night before no one cleaned the facility and my husband had paper sticking to his sneaker. No way in hell we'll be back. WHAT the hell happened to this place? If anyone asks for a recommendation I'll tell them where not to go
Food very good. On a scale of 1 to 10 I will give you 9.5.
My husband said its Cheers 20 years later. Served raw food and the waitress just kept saying it was not her fault because she did not cook it. While that is true, you don't try to satisfy a customer by blaming another employee, along with saying that no one else complained about the food. She proceeded to tell my husband to have a good night and ignored me. And I bet she has no idea why no tip was left for her. There are so many great places to eat and have a drink on the island, stay away from this place!
